GWiB’s very popular Table Talks provide an intimate place to sit around a table and learn about each woman’s business. The format is casual, with two or three women hosting the event by providing snacks and drinks and the opportunity to present their business in a “show & tell” format. Each woman attending is allowed to introduce themselves and their business. The intention is for women to have time to share the good, the bad and the ugly about their business.

Leah McDermott will be hosting us at her studio - MPOWR Kickboxing!

Leah will give us a studio tour, and demo of her kickboxing classes and talk about her journey as an instructor / owner of a fitness studio.

GWiB’s Wellness Break: Nordic Ski Day

Join us for a winter Wellness Break at Frisco Nordic Center (https://www.townoffrisco.com/things-to-do/frisco-nordic-center) on Thursday, Feb. 26. We’ll be on the trails from 10:00 a.m. to noon, followed by lunch in Frisco for anyone who’d like to hang out afterward.

WHAT ARE GWIB INDUSTRY CIRCLES?

Talk to people from your industry

GWiB Circles are offered to members who want to network with other GWiB members in the same industry. The GWiB Circles are various industry-specific groups of women who meet regularly to build relationships and share information. The Circles are industry-specific – meaning that the members of each Circle work in the same or similar industry. If you desire to attend a Circle, please first reach out to the Circle Leader for that particular circle to ensure that your business/employment falls within the circle industry.

*GWiB membership is required to be in the circle. Non-members are encouraged to attend GWiB events such as Book Club, Table Talks, Happy Hour, or Circle events two times for free to see if GWiB is a good fit for them.
