Alicia Welch
Alicia manages GWIB’s Happy Hours, where members and guests mingle and make valuable connections!
Alicia is a 31-year fire service veteran. Raised by law enforcement officers, public service was definitely a calling for her. Arts and crafting are also part of the family bloodline. Combining the knowledge of first responder needs with the wants of their loved ones into quality products made from retired fire hoses, turnout gear, and uniforms, Alicia started Fire Crafted 2024. Products are thoughtful, sustainable, responsible, and upcycled from retired fire equipment. The Mission of Fire Crafted is to preserve the rich history of essential firefighting equipment while also protecting the environment from adding nonbiodegradable materials into our nation’s landfills.
If you’d like to explore how a happy hour can promote your business and build your network, please drop her a line!

GWiB’s Table Talks Coordinator
Liz Lautrup
Liz Lautrup loves being curious and is always learning. She loves understanding people better and has a passion for helping others learn and grow, too. She worked for various corporations, developing, managing and delivering training programs, and she loved working as a team.
After having her second (and youngest) child, and as she began experiencing autoimmune disease around 2005, her passion for painting took over, as she needed a way to express herself freely, open up without judgement, and find/create joy. People started asking her if they could buy her paintings, or create artwork just for them, and she grew her Fine Art career for over 15 years.
Over the past three years, since becoming an empty nester, she has longed for more deep connection and direct service to help others relax, heal and find the joy and peace that are their birthright. She found a sound healing practice that helped HER heal, called Biofield Tuning, and she is now a Certified Biofield Tuning Practitioner. She is absolutely enthralled with this energy work where one can shift and harmonize both physically and emotionally using sound (tuning forks) on and around the body. She loves working with others on any blocks or emotions that keep them from their joy. Her business is LIZLA Spark Sound Therapy, and her website is lizlaspark.com.
Liz has two wonderful adult children and lives with her husband, Drew, and furry rescue doggie, Pogo, in the Applewood neighborhood of Golden, CO. She enjoys walks with friends, Pilates, Nature (every day), and of course-creating sound and art.
Liz manages GWiB’s Table Talks and can be reached by emailing her.
