This month we are getting a bit more spiritual (and potentially out of my personal comfort zone). We're reading A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose by Eckhart Tolle (see below).
If you want to see me being uncomfortable discussing states of consciousness, join our breakfast book club with a cup of your favorite morning drink!
In A New Earth, Tolle shows how transcending our ego-based state of consciousness is not only essential to personal happiness, but also the key to ending conflict and suffering throughout the world. Tolle describes how our attachment to the ego creates the dysfunction that leads to anger, jealousy, and unhappiness, and shows readers how to awaken to a new state of consciousness and follow the path to a truly fulfilling existence.

What is the GWiB’s Book Club?
GWiB’s Book Club is a great place for book lovers and those wanting to grow in their knowledge and understanding of a diverse set of topics. One book is chosen per month among many topics. Most topics are relevant to women business owners. Women join for an hour and a half to discuss the book. If you don’t have a chance to read the book, no problem. You can join us and listen in!
If you would like to dive more deeply into personal and business development while spending quality time with like-minded women, the GWiB Book Club is your place!
